Clocktower Grill is a friendly bar & restaurant with great food that is located slightly off the beaten path, unless you are using the RTD Light Rail Station at Lincoln. The location is about a mile from the Park Meadows entertainment district south of C-470 and maybe a mile north of the Sky Ridge Medical Center. I don't frequent this area unless I'm making a special trip to Clocktower to enjoy their good food and reasonably priced drinks. Happy Hour goes from 11AM - 7PM Monday thru Friday. Usually order a burger because they do a really good one called the Rodeo Burger with grilled onions, BBQ sauce, & cheddar cheese. The Tuna Steak Tacos are another item that is really good. Clocktower has a nice patio for outdoor seating. Inside is a great place to view sporting events. They have a large selection of HDTVs throughout the bar & restaurant. In fact we were there yesterday to watch the NCAA Tourney. Parking out front is limited but it is a short walk to the Light Rail parking lot behind the building where there is tons of additional free parking. Let me start by saying that I would like to give this place a 3.5 leaning on the upside so I settled on 4. We recently stopped by the Clock Tower Grill for GWD Trivia (Thursdays at 8). The initial impression is very good. It still feels like new construction and inside it is pristine. There are a ton of HD TVs for sports and plenty of tables. In the back there is a new Golden Tee and some other arcade games. The menu is standard sports bar type fare and the prices are reasonable. $7.95 for a sandwich but it doesnt come with fries, you have to order those separately which is kind of a downer. The portion size is fair and overall the meal was nothing to jump for joy over, but it got the job done. The staff was very attentive and nice but on a Thursday night it was pretty empty. I did notice a good amount of specials daily with Thursdays offering happy hour all night ($1 off all beers in my case). There was also a pretty good beer selection considering the location and size. There is a patio area for the warmer months and for the smokers. I would also imagine there is never a parking issue as Clock Tower is at the Lincoln light rail station. My only glaring criticism was the noise. The restuarant is open and spacious with high ceilings but there is nothing to dampen the noise. Trivia was echoing and sometimes struggled over the usual din. Overall a good place for the game or a quick bite, espeically if you're hopping on the light rail for a baseball game or coming home from work.

The first experience I had here while on business was not good. Food was delivered to the wrong person, service was poor... But it is the only thing near the office so we came back a couple of times. I give them some credit for the fact that our first time eating here was with a party of 18... The other item I will share is the poor manager interaction... Let's just say I expected more... Other than that, the food is good, good lunch specials, and most of the staff is friendly. My favorite is the lunch burger, which for $8 includes a drink and fries... Not bad. Stay away from the French dip... Nothing special going on today.

Their service is always consistently outstanding. They greet you immediately and make drinks/pour beer very fast. I'm not a big fan of the food, but if you like good "bar food" then it's actually ok. If "Heart Attack Grill" had a little sister, Clock Tower Grill would be it. Before I dive into the details, here is a quick point review. LOCATION 4 - great if you are around Park Meadows or live south, convenient off I-25 and Lincoln and next to light rail station. AMBIANCE 4 - typical dive bar with wood chairs and some booths (no cushions tho); I loved their assortment of board and card games to play, as well as arcade games; restrooms and common areas clean; lots of TVs but weird that half of them were set to infomercial channels. SERVICE 4 - friendly and available. FOOD 2 - read details below. PRICE/VALUE 2 - way too overpriced for such low quality food. Food was tasty at first, but a day later we are still feeling it, and not in a good way. Plus is seemed like our heart rate/blood pressure went up immediately after consuming this food (yes, literally). I thought I was ordering the healthy option of a club sandwich over a greasy burger, but it still wasn't too smart of a choice. My husband had the cubano and felt the same way. All of the food was soooo greasy, even the toasted sandwhiches. The onion rings and fries must have been fried in old oil as they had an unattractive dark brown color. On a positive note, the pretzel bites were good and light and I quote enjoyed the honey mustard which was supprosing because I usually detest anything mustard. The onion rings seemed to battered in the beer batter like the fish and chips, good flavor and would have been excellent despite the bad oil. Two sandwiches, an appetizer and two soft drinks for a $35 price tag. I should have gone to Jimmy John's for 12 bucks. I won't be back and I suggest you save your money or just go for drinks only for one of their trivia or karaoke nights.

Definitely one of my favorite hang out spots. The service is amazing, Marie & Doug are the best, they always remember what drinks I enjoy! I love going for "Geeks Who Drink" trivia on Wednesdays at 8pm, the hostess is hilarious and we always have a good time. Even with recent snow the turn out still makes for a great evening! The food is always fresh and tasty, typical bar-food style. It can get pretty packed during major sporting events, but the service still never fails. Though I do not participate in karaoke myself, I rather enjoy going on Fridays and Saturdays to listen to everyone else perform! There is some great talent, and of course the usual karaoke songs that get the whole bar singing. A great place to start your night, or to end if it you're taking the lightrail!

I cannot really get a feel for this place. Maybe because it has a very strong neighborhood bar feel, and I don't live in the neighborhood. The space is large, and although I wouldn't call it a dive bar it has some divey characteristics - which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The drinks, for example, were pretty good and cheap, especially during happy hours. I find the service is quicker if you're in the bar, and it's definitely warmer up there. The lower dining area can get cold in the winter. The food is pretty much what you would expect from this type of bar: burgers, wings, lots of fried appetizers. I've had burgers here, as well as chips, salsa, queso and a few other apps. Everything is pretty good, though nothing really stood out as outstanding. Overall, it's a fun space to meet friends for watching sports, or for an evening of bingo or trivia, or for just a few drinks.

This place has quickly become my favorite south Metro hangout. The food is always delicious, yet cheap, the service prompt and friendly (they'll remember your drink after 2 visits and bring it to you automatically thereafter), and the nightly gimmicks are surprisingly well done (trivia and karaoke are actually fun...doubt me, but if you check it out you'll become a believer). I'm SO torn on how to write a review for this place. Here's the deal... They DO have some good burgers. The rest of their menu (that I've tasted) has been typical bar food, but I really, really enjoy their burgers. Of the other burger places around me (Graze, Swingers, Five Guys), I'll go here. Also, sweet potato fries. They DON'T have great service. The host or hostess is always MIA. They're never in a rush to seat you or wait on you. The only exceptions are the the chef and expediter, who send food out pretty quickly. The bartenders have that permanent frownface that don't beckon for conversation or a good time. Here's my favorite part. Karaoke night. By "favorite", I mean it is the most depressing thing in the entire world and it makes me feel weird inside to be there when it's going on. Can we, as a group, decide to ban LONG, SAD karaoke songs? Don't do it. That seems to be all the people here want to sing. Meatloaf's "I'd do Anything for Love" is LITERALLY twelve minutes long. Don't sing it. It's also not a crowd pleaser. Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody? It's more of a crowd pleaser, but it's six minutes long. Random, one-off country songs? STAHP! There's also that one woman who looks like a gypsy and sings a gazillion Adele songs as if she's just waiting to be discovered. In a small bar in Lone Tree. On a Saturday night. It is kind of cute that families will come here. There was a 12 year old boy who awkwardly sang Aladdin and that was my favorite. But it was 11:00 at night. That was odd. Anyway, I highly suggest people come experience the strangeness that is Clock Tower Grill Karaoke Night and soothe your weird feelings with a pretty decent burger.

I love this place. I came here after stopping at Fox & Hound who refused to put on the Av's game which blew my mind since they had other hockey games on that had no relevance to the playoffs or Colorado. I decided to come here because I've been here one night before and requested the Avs game and they put it on right in front of me at the bar which was great since march madness games were on. I usually sit at the bar or up stairs and the guy and girl who usually work are always so friendly and they keep the COLD drinks coming and always follow up to see if anything else is needed. The tacos, queso, wings, pretzel, and nacho fries are a few things that I've had and I liked all them. SOOO good. I've been trying to talk my friends into going the next day so I could get it again. The patrons are also really friendly, atmosphere is great with a lot of tvs. Karakoee I think and a DJ.

I give it 3 stars, primarily for convenience vis-a-vis the Lone Tree / Lincoln light rail station. I dropped it for some food and to re-hydrate after a hot day and evening. I was surprised that the interior seemed somewhat dingy, considering that the place is not that old. This could be partially caused by the darker color scheme. They had bingo going late on this weekday night, which struck me as somewhat odd, but of the smallish crowd, most people were playing. I sat at the bar, and I must say, the female bartender with the long blonde hair was very attentive. She refilled my water glass several times (I never had to ask). She made useful recommendations on food from the menu, and she seemed to be working very hard. My burger with onion rings was just okay. I had the New Mexico Burger (a 1/2 pound patty with green chiles, guacamole, and Monterrey Jack cheese) and I had them add onions. The burger was cooked fairly well, but the but the rest was middling. There were a lot of green chiles, but they were chopped very fine and were rather bland with little heat, and I think they were frozen up until recently. The other flavors were also muted. The onion rings ($2.99 up-charge) were a healthy portion. The batter was rather thick and seemed to lean heavily to corn-meal, which is not my preference. I would be willing to drop by again (if killing time before or after a light rail ride) to try something different.

Cute little bar/pub with very friendly staff! Went once for brunch/lunch to scope out the location for a possible party. I was having option overload so the server took some time to give me suggestions from each section! I went with the tacos- a nice kick and good flavor. They make their own salsa, so that was nice. But it comes in a tiny little cup - kinda hard to dip a chip in! Or maybe that wasnt' the point? I went for happy hour on another afternoon - the patio is nice - stays in the sun as it is setting! Might not be super awesome on a summer day, but was nice that afternoon! It is right at the base of the light rail, so if you call this stop home, it could be a nice stopping point on your way! Parking is definitely tight - only about 12 spots. For happy hour we tried the nachos - they were very well done and tasty!

I was told they would be ready in 5-minutes i didn't get there until about 10 minutes after I ordered and they still were not ready..OK fine BUT when i approached the bar area to retrieve my order the bartender just looked at me and kept talking to the people in from of her and it was clear it was not related to restaurant business! I had to flag her down and once she came over she moved soooooo slow to go and get my order ! It was like she did it on purpose and showed no regard for my time!!!! I thought to -go was fast??!! Clock Tower Grill is a new place affixed to the clock tower, and parking garage, at Lincoln Station in Lone Tree. The place is very cool, with a nice atmosphere and great staff. It's a sports bar, so many TVs hang from the ceiling to cover all the nights events. The place is really new, and business seems to reflect that. Still, your guaranteed a table and superb service as a result. It'll be interesting to see how this place evolves, especially as the surrounding area grows and the Light Rail Station becomes busier. We have driven past the Clock Tower Grill a bunch of times, saying "we'll stop by there some time". This evening was the night. It was quiet, and we were sat straight away. We ordered the $2 tacos (one of each of the shrimp, beef, and chicken tacos - apparently, it's a regular Tuesday special). They were average - the chips were straight out of a bag, the tortilla was obviously straight out of the bag (couldn't you have even placed it on the flat top for 10 seconds to warm it up???) and the contents completely forgettable. In addition, I had a cup of the green chili - this was the highlight of the meal, and almost worth going back for. However, we then ordered the calimari. It came with a unique pineapple chili dipping sauce. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough of the dipping sauce, and the calimari themselves were so overcooked as to be almost inedible. I wouldn't go here a second time, except maybe to try dessert - they had some unique desserts listed (like funnel cake fries) that sounded interesting.

We are always treated well by the staff and they serve excellent drinks. The location works well, too, because if we are headed downtown for the night, it's right next to the light rail. Their food was OK but the service was not. We entered and waited at the podium to be seated. After a few minute wait, a server told us to seat ourselves. No problem but a "seat yourself" sign would have been helpful. Others that came in were equally confused - some seated themselves, others were escorted. Then, we waited quite some time to be approached by a server. The food was OK but nothing noteworthy. A coupon made the visit reasonably priced but without it I think they're a bit overpriced. I think they figure the light rail folks will pay for the convenience. Overall, not an impressive debut. Unless they make some significant changes, I give them until the end of the year. If the owners have deep pockets, maybe longer.

I went to the Clocktower apres work during a recent snowstorm to help pass the time to let traffic ease up a bit before I ventured home. It's right nextdoor to work, and I figured since I had the time...I may as well give them another shot. I was really hoping they'd improve, but they haven't. Again, it was dead (though they insist business is great.) Granted the snowstorm probably kept a lot of people away, a dead bar is rarely a fun bar. I sat down, and asked the bartender for a Guinness. Now, It's not an Irish Pub, so maybe I shouldn't be appalled at this, but the dude didn't even know how to pour a Guinness. he just opened the tap, and filled it to the top, then brought it to me, with the head still foaming from half an inch off the bottom of the glass. Really? Well...whatever. I can overlook it, I just won't order another Guinness if you're gonna put a foot of head on top each time. I asked him if he could turn on the Celtics game for me (the GMAC bowl was lower than stabbing myself in the face with an icepick on my priority list.) Here is what followed. "The what game?" "The Celtics. The Boston Celtics." "Oh okay, who are they playing? Just in case..." I think to myself, just in case what, they call you in for some great low post defense? "The Miami Heat is who they're playing." "Oh okay, sure thing bro." 3 minutes later he turns on the Colorado State basketball game. At least he got the color right? At this point I know three things: I hate when people call me 'bro' when they don't know me, Barkeep doesn't know how to pour a Guinness (a major faux pas when your hair is as red as mine) and he either doesn't know who the Boston Celtics are, or turned on the wrong game, and then didn't even say anything to me about it, or chose not to explain that they didn't have an NBA package. I think we're at like strike 6 so far. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap. For $8.95. Good prices! Oh yeah, sides are a-la carte. So the Fries cost an extra $1.99. I wonder if getting them cooked properly costs extra too. While the wrap was pretty decent, the fries were not. The beer was fine (and yes, I did switch to Coors Light.) I can't remember for the life of me the prices of the beer, but I know it was happy hour up until 7, so that helped. Before I left I had a Whiskey Diet, and was floored that it was almost $6. Maybe I'm just used to drinking at dives with cheap drinks, but I thought it was a little higher priced than it needed to be. Overall, after a 2nd real visit -- I have to say it's overpriced (especially with a-la-carte sides) the atmosphere lacks, and the food remains average. While they did have free poker going on (every wednesday at 7, signups are at 6) and both poker tables were packed, they seem hard pressed for clientele. Unless I'm dragged over, I probably won't be going back to Clocktower any time soon.

So for my first time walking into this place was with some friends that had been here before and said positive things about it. However my thoughts after spending about 25 minutes in the place aren't very posistive. Sat down at a booth around some other folks whom were eating and drinking and being merry and proceeded to notice they had a pretty good sized crowd for a weeknight. After about 10 min we started to notice we hadn't been noticed at all by any of the 2 servers that passed us by taking care of the patrons around us so we gave it a few more minutes and got up to see if anyone would notice us but nothing seemed to catch peoples eye so we left and didn't look back. Maybe another time in the future we will revisit but for now stay away!

I wasn't really impressed with Clock Tower Grill. My husband and I visited there when it first opened becuase we received a pretty good coupon in the mail. I think it was a buy one meal get one free with the purchase of drinks. We went on a Friday so I made sure there were no limitations in the fine print of the coupon, since I know a lot of times for restaurants there are. There were no limitations PRINTED on the coupon, The food was ok. Very average bar-food. Average drinks as well. Pricing seemed a bit expensive for the quality and type of food. We get our bill and present the waitress with the coupon. She immediately says to us "Oh sorry...these aren't valid on Fridays or Saturdays". Well it sure doesn't say that on the coupon. So she took it back to her manager to ask and came back to let us know they'd accept it THIS TIME but they'll never honor it for us again. Uh...okay. Well, no need to worry about that because we'll never go back again. Skip this place.

I've never heard of the place, but I got a coupon in Val-Pak. (didn't use) Checked it out on a Tuesday nite. It was slow, no biggie. The bartender, Sarah, waited on us. She totally sucked. She had the enthusiasm of a slug in a snow storm. I asked if there were any specials. She said no. The other waitress told us about $2 tacos. There were 50 people playing poker. When questioned Sarah knew nothing about it then returned saying it was a private game. Is that legal? I gave her the benefit of doubt. I asked,"Are you new here?" She said no. She'd been there since they opened a year and half ago, lol. (Must be related to the owner or something) The food was ....good. The place was clean. The staff looks like they hate their jobs. I'll bey you $5 that the raving review came from management. It sounds too much like a commercial. Would I go back? If I'm in the parking garage on Lincoln...maybe. Yeah, I'll give 'em another try, I guess. Maybe their crap crew works on slow nights. I doubt if I'd go out of my way to go there. Too bad, huh? Nice location. Patio looks nice. Clocktower Grill is a friendly bar & restaurant with great food that is located slightly off the beaten path, unless you are using the RTD Light Rail Station at Lincoln. The location is about a mile from the Park Meadows entertainment district south of C-470 and maybe a mile north of the Sky Ridge Medical Center. I don't frequent this area unless I'm making a special trip to Clocktower to enjoy their good food and reasonably priced drinks. Happy Hour goes from 11AM - 7PM Monday thru Friday. Usually order a burger because they do a really good one called the Rodeo Burger with grilled onions, BBQ sauce, & cheddar cheese. The Tuna Steak Tacos are another item that is really good. Clocktower has a nice patio for outdoor seating. Inside is a great place to view sporting events. They have a large selection of HDTVs throughout the bar & restaurant. In fact we were there yesterday to watch the NCAA Tourney. Parking out front is limited but it is a short walk to the Light Rail parking lot behind the building where there is tons of additional free parking. Let me start by saying that I would like to give this place a 3.5 leaning on the upside so I settled on 4. We recently stopped by the Clock Tower Grill for GWD Trivia (Thursdays at 8). The initial impression is very good. It still feels like new construction and inside it is pristine. There are a ton of HD TVs for sports and plenty of tables. In the back there is a new Golden Tee and some other arcade games. The menu is standard sports bar type fare and the prices are reasonable. $7.95 for a sandwich but it doesnt come with fries, you have to order those separately which is kind of a downer. The portion size is fair and overall the meal was nothing to jump for joy over, but it got the job done. The staff was very attentive and nice but on a Thursday night it was pretty empty. I did notice a good amount of specials daily with Thursdays offering happy hour all night ($1 off all beers in my case). There was also a pretty good beer selection considering the location and size. There is a patio area for the warmer months and for the smokers. I would also imagine there is never a parking issue as Clock Tower is at the Lincoln light rail station. My only glaring criticism was the noise. The restuarant is open and spacious with high ceilings but there is nothing to dampen the noise. Trivia was echoing and sometimes struggled over the usual din. Overall a good place for the game or a quick bite, espeically if you're hopping on the light rail for a baseball game or coming home from work.

The first experience I had here while on business was not good. Food was delivered to the wrong person, service was poor... But it is the only thing near the office so we came back a couple of times. I give them some credit for the fact that our first time eating here was with a party of 18... The other item I will share is the poor manager interaction... Let's just say I expected more... Other than that, the food is good, good lunch specials, and most of the staff is friendly. My favorite is the lunch burger, which for $8 includes a drink and fries... Not bad. Stay away from the French dip... Nothing special going on today.

If "Heart Attack Grill" had a little sister, Clock Tower Grill would be it. Before I dive into the details, here is a quick point review. LOCATION 4 - great if you are around Park Meadows or live south, convenient off I-25 and Lincoln and next to light rail station. AMBIANCE 4 - typical dive bar with wood chairs and some booths (no cushions tho); I loved their assortment of board and card games to play, as well as arcade games; restrooms and common areas clean; lots of TVs but weird that half of them were set to infomercial channels. SERVICE 4 - friendly and available. FOOD 2 - read details below. PRICE/VALUE 2 - way too overpriced for such low quality food. Food was tasty at first, but a day later we are still feeling it, and not in a good way. Plus is seemed like our heart rate/blood pressure went up immediately after consuming this food (yes, literally). I thought I was ordering the healthy option of a club sandwich over a greasy burger, but it still wasn't too smart of a choice. My husband had the cubano and felt the same way. All of the food was soooo greasy, even the toasted sandwhiches. The onion rings and fries must have been fried in old oil as they had an unattractive dark brown color. On a positive note, the pretzel bites were good and light and I quote enjoyed the honey mustard which was supprosing because I usually detest anything mustard. The onion rings seemed to battered in the beer batter like the fish and chips, good flavor and would have been excellent despite the bad oil. Two sandwiches, an appetizer and two soft drinks for a $35 price tag. I should have gone to Jimmy John's for 12 bucks. I won't be back and I suggest you save your money or just go for drinks only for one of their trivia or karaoke nights.

Definitely one of my favorite hang out spots. The service is amazing, Marie & Doug are the best, they always remember what drinks I enjoy! I love going for "Geeks Who Drink" trivia on Wednesdays at 8pm, the hostess is hilarious and we always have a good time. Even with recent snow the turn out still makes for a great evening! The food is always fresh and tasty, typical bar-food style. It can get pretty packed during major sporting events, but the service still never fails. Though I do not participate in karaoke myself, I rather enjoy going on Fridays and Saturdays to listen to everyone else perform! There is some great talent, and of course the usual karaoke songs that get the whole bar singing. A great place to start your night, or to end if it you're taking the lightrail!

I cannot really get a feel for this place. Maybe because it has a very strong neighborhood bar feel, and I don't live in the neighborhood. The space is large, and although I wouldn't call it a dive bar it has some divey characteristics - which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The drinks, for example, were pretty good and cheap, especially during happy hours. I find the service is quicker if you're in the bar, and it's definitely warmer up there. The lower dining area can get cold in the winter. The food is pretty much what you would expect from this type of bar: burgers, wings, lots of fried appetizers. I've had burgers here, as well as chips, salsa, queso and a few other apps. Everything is pretty good, though nothing really stood out as outstanding. Overall, it's a fun space to meet friends for watching sports, or for an evening of bingo or trivia, or for just a few drinks.

This place has quickly become my favorite south Metro hangout. The food is always delicious, yet cheap, the service prompt and friendly (they'll remember your drink after 2 visits and bring it to you automatically thereafter), and the nightly gimmicks are surprisingly well done (trivia and karaoke are actually fun...doubt me, but if you check it out you'll become a believer). Give it a whirl and you'll find a new home away from home.

I'm SO torn on how to write a review for this place. Here's the deal... They DO have some good burgers. The rest of their menu (that I've tasted) has been typical bar food, but I really, really enjoy their burgers. Of the other burger places around me (Graze, Swingers, Five Guys), I'll go here. Also, sweet potato fries. They DON'T have great service. The host or hostess is always MIA. They're never in a rush to seat you or wait on you. The only exceptions are the the chef and expediter, who send food out pretty quickly. The bartenders have that permanent frownface that don't beckon for conversation or a good time. Here's my favorite part. Karaoke night. By "favorite", I mean it is the most depressing thing in the entire world and it makes me feel weird inside to be there when it's going on. Can we, as a group, decide to ban LONG, SAD karaoke songs? Don't do it. That seems to be all the people here want to sing. Meatloaf's "I'd do Anything for Love" is LITERALLY twelve minutes long. Don't sing it. It's also not a crowd pleaser. Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody? It's more of a crowd pleaser, but it's six minutes long. Random, one-off country songs? STAHP! There's also that one woman who looks like a gypsy and sings a gazillion Adele songs as if she's just waiting to be discovered. In a small bar in Lone Tree. On a Saturday night. It is kind of cute that families will come here. There was a 12 year old boy who awkwardly sang Aladdin and that was my favorite. But it was 11:00 at night. That was odd. Anyway, I highly suggest people come experience the strangeness that is Clock Tower Grill Karaoke Night and soothe your weird feelings with a pretty decent burger.

I love this place. I came here after stopping at Fox & Hound who refused to put on the Av's game which blew my mind since they had other hockey games on that had no relevance to the playoffs or Colorado. I decided to come here because I've been here one night before and requested the Avs game and they put it on right in front of me at the bar which was great since march madness games were on. I usually sit at the bar or up stairs and the guy and girl who usually work are always so friendly and they keep the COLD drinks coming and always follow up to see if anything else is needed. The tacos, queso, wings, pretzel, and nacho fries are a few things that I've had and I liked all them. SOOO good. I've been trying to talk my friends into going the next day so I could get it again. The patrons are also really friendly, atmosphere is great with a lot of tvs. Karakoee I think and a DJ.

I give it 3 stars, primarily for convenience vis-a-vis the Lone Tree / Lincoln light rail station. I dropped it for some food and to re-hydrate after a hot day and evening. I was surprised that the interior seemed somewhat dingy, considering that the place is not that old. This could be partially caused by the darker color scheme. They had bingo going late on this weekday night, which struck me as somewhat odd, but of the smallish crowd, most people were playing. I sat at the bar, and I must say, the female bartender with the long blonde hair was very attentive. She refilled my water glass several times (I never had to ask). She made useful recommendations on food from the menu, and she seemed to be working very hard. My burger with onion rings was just okay. I had the New Mexico Burger (a 1/2 pound patty with green chiles, guacamole, and Monterrey Jack cheese) and I had them add onions. The burger was cooked fairly well, but the but the rest was middling. There were a lot of green chiles, but they were chopped very fine and were rather bland with little heat, and I think they were frozen up until recently. The other flavors were also muted. The onion rings ($2.99 up-charge) were a healthy portion. The batter was rather thick and seemed to lean heavily to corn-meal, which is not my preference. I would be willing to drop by again (if killing time before or after a light rail ride) to try something different.

Cute little bar/pub with very friendly staff! Went once for brunch/lunch to scope out the location for a possible party. I was having option overload so the server took some time to give me suggestions from each section! I went with the tacos- a nice kick and good flavor. They make their own salsa, so that was nice. But it comes in a tiny little cup - kinda hard to dip a chip in! Or maybe that wasnt' the point? I went for happy hour on another afternoon - the patio is nice - stays in the sun as it is setting! Might not be super awesome on a summer day, but was nice that afternoon! It is right at the base of the light rail, so if you call this stop home, it could be a nice stopping point on your way! Parking is definitely tight - only about 12 spots. For happy hour we tried the nachos - they were very well done and tasty!

I was told they would be ready in 5-minutes i didn't get there until about 10 minutes after I ordered and they still were not ready..OK fine BUT when i approached the bar area to retrieve my order the bartender just looked at me and kept talking to the people in from of her and it was clear it was not related to restaurant business! I had to flag her down and once she came over she moved soooooo slow to go and get my order ! It was like she did it on purpose and showed no regard for my time!!!! I thought to -go was fast??!! I'm really frustrated that my prior review was censored by Yelp, because according to the censor it lacked a "substantive" personal experience and the Yelp community complained about it. I had a personal experience, it just wasn't worthy of a verbose effort on my part, because it was marked by MEDIOCRITY on their part. The service was MEDIOCRE. The food was MEDIOCRE. The location, inside and out, is MEDIOCRE. In fact, I'm not sure mediocre accurately describes the fish and chips I ate. Clock Tower Grill is a new place affixed to the clock tower, and parking garage, at Lincoln Station in Lone Tree. The place is very cool, with a nice atmosphere and great staff. It's a sports bar, so many TVs hang from the ceiling to cover all the nights events. The place is really new, and business seems to reflect that. Still, your guaranteed a table and superb service as a result. It'll be interesting to see how this place evolves, especially as the surrounding area grows and the Light Rail Station becomes busier. The food is your typical bar fair. Nothing too fancy, but its yummy just the same.

So that was pretty good. Nachos were pretty good. They used nacho cheese so not amazing, but it came with the works: guac and sour cream! Our server was really nice ! Might be back, but I am no rush really.

We have driven past the Clock Tower Grill a bunch of times, saying "we'll stop by there some time". This evening was the night. It was quiet, and we were sat straight away. We ordered the $2 tacos (one of each of the shrimp, beef, and chicken tacos - apparently, it's a regular Tuesday special). They were average - the chips were straight out of a bag, the tortilla was obviously straight out of the bag (couldn't you have even placed it on the flat top for 10 seconds to warm it up???) and the contents completely forgettable. In addition, I had a cup of the green chili - this was the highlight of the meal, and almost worth going back for. However, we then ordered the calimari. It came with a unique pineapple chili dipping sauce. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough of the dipping sauce, and the calimari themselves were so overcooked as to be almost inedible. I wouldn't go here a second time, except maybe to try dessert - they had some unique desserts listed (like funnel cake fries) that sounded interesting.

What we were looking for was cheap drinks, and Clock Tower has an all-day happy hour on Thursdays, so they won on that one. $3 house wines and wells and beer specials meant our bills were only around $10/person. We are always treated well by the staff and they serve excellent drinks. The location works well, too, because if we are headed downtown for the night, it's right next to the light rail. Their food was OK but the service was not. We entered and waited at the podium to be seated. After a few minute wait, a server told us to seat ourselves. No problem but a "seat yourself" sign would have been helpful. Others that came in were equally confused - some seated themselves, others were escorted. Then, we waited quite some time to be approached by a server. The food was OK but nothing noteworthy. A coupon made the visit reasonably priced but without it I think they're a bit overpriced. I think they figure the light rail folks will pay for the convenience. Overall, not an impressive debut. Unless they make some significant changes, I give them until the end of the year. If the owners have deep pockets, maybe longer.

I went to the Clocktower apres work during a recent snowstorm to help pass the time to let traffic ease up a bit before I ventured home. It's right nextdoor to work, and I figured since I had the time...I may as well give them another shot. I was really hoping they'd improve, but they haven't. Again, it was dead (though they insist business is great.) Granted the snowstorm probably kept a lot of people away, a dead bar is rarely a fun bar. I sat down, and asked the bartender for a Guinness. Now, It's not an Irish Pub, so maybe I shouldn't be appalled at this, but the dude didn't even know how to pour a Guinness. he just opened the tap, and filled it to the top, then brought it to me, with the head still foaming from half an inch off the bottom of the glass. Really? Well...whatever. I can overlook it, I just won't order another Guinness if you're gonna put a foot of head on top each time. I asked him if he could turn on the Celtics game for me (the GMAC bowl was lower than stabbing myself in the face with an icepick on my priority list.) Here is what followed. "The what game?" "The Celtics. The Boston Celtics." "Oh okay, who are they playing? Just in case..." I think to myself, just in case what, they call you in for some great low post defense? "The Miami Heat is who they're playing." "Oh okay, sure thing bro." 3 minutes later he turns on the Colorado State basketball game. At least he got the color right? At this point I know three things: I hate when people call me 'bro' when they don't know me, Barkeep doesn't know how to pour a Guinness (a major faux pas when your hair is as red as mine) and he either doesn't know who the Boston Celtics are, or turned on the wrong game, and then didn't even say anything to me about it, or chose not to explain that they didn't have an NBA package. I think we're at like strike 6 so far. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap. For $8.95. Good prices! Oh yeah, sides are a-la carte. So the Fries cost an extra $1.99. I wonder if getting them cooked properly costs extra too. While the wrap was pretty decent, the fries were not. The beer was fine (and yes, I did switch to Coors Light.) I can't remember for the life of me the prices of the beer, but I know it was happy hour up until 7, so that helped. Before I left I had a Whiskey Diet, and was floored that it was almost $6. Maybe I'm just used to drinking at dives with cheap drinks, but I thought it was a little higher priced than it needed to be. Overall, after a 2nd real visit -- I have to say it's overpriced (especially with a-la-carte sides) the atmosphere lacks, and the food remains average. While they did have free poker going on (every wednesday at 7, signups are at 6) and both poker tables were packed, they seem hard pressed for clientele. Unless I'm dragged over, I probably won't be going back to Clocktower any time soon.

So for my first time walking into this place was with some friends that had been here before and said positive things about it. However my thoughts after spending about 25 minutes in the place aren't very posistive. Sat down at a booth around some other folks whom were eating and drinking and being merry and proceeded to notice they had a pretty good sized crowd for a weeknight. After about 10 min we started to notice we hadn't been noticed at all by any of the 2 servers that passed us by taking care of the patrons around us so we gave it a few more minutes and got up to see if anyone would notice us but nothing seemed to catch peoples eye so we left and didn't look back. Maybe another time in the future we will revisit but for now stay away!

I wasn't really impressed with Clock Tower Grill. My husband and I visited there when it first opened becuase we received a pretty good coupon in the mail. I think it was a buy one meal get one free with the purchase of drinks. We went on a Friday so I made sure there were no limitations in the fine print of the coupon, since I know a lot of times for restaurants there are. There were no limitations PRINTED on the coupon, The food was ok. Very average bar-food. Average drinks as well. Pricing seemed a bit expensive for the quality and type of food. We get our bill and present the waitress with the coupon. She immediately says to us "Oh sorry...these aren't valid on Fridays or Saturdays". Well it sure doesn't say that on the coupon. So she took it back to her manager to ask and came back to let us know they'd accept it THIS TIME but they'll never honor it for us again. Uh...okay. Well, no need to worry about that because we'll never go back again. Skip this place.

I've never heard of the place, but I got a coupon in Val-Pak. (didn't use) Checked it out on a Tuesday nite. It was slow, no biggie. The bartender, Sarah, waited on us. She totally sucked. She had the enthusiasm of a slug in a snow storm. I asked if there were any specials. She said no. The other waitress told us about $2 tacos. There were 50 people playing poker. When questioned Sarah knew nothing about it then returned saying it was a private game. Is that legal? I gave her the benefit of doubt. I asked,"Are you new here?" She said no. She'd been there since they opened a year and half ago, lol. (Must be related to the owner or something) The food was ....good. The place was clean. The staff looks like they hate their jobs. I'll bey you $5 that the raving review came from management. It sounds too much like a commercial. Would I go back? If I'm in the parking garage on Lincoln...maybe. Yeah, I'll give 'em another try, I guess. Maybe their crap crew works on slow nights. I doubt if I'd go out of my way to go there. Too bad, huh? Nice location. Patio looks nice. I say fire the management for their poor selection and training.

Though was there for dinner looked to bee a great place to stop in for drink after work and hangout with friends and watch a sporting event (lots of TVs in addition to large projection TV in back of the restaurant)
